Duties of the District Director
The District Director represents the RMATA by serving on the Board of Directors for the National Athletic Trainers' Association. This service includes taking direction from the President or the RMATA Board and serving as a spokesperson for the Association in matters relating to the NATA, the NATA Board of Certification, Inc., or of otherwise national significance. Mr. Bart Peterson has provided service to the Association in a number of committees as well as on the Board of Directors over the past 19 years. He served as the Wyoming State Representative to the Board of Directors from 1992-1998, as the Secretary from 2004-2010, and now serves as the Director for the 2010-2012 term. Mr. Peterson has also served the National Athletic Trainers association on numerous Task Forces and the NATA Secondary School Committee from 1996-2004.
